It made me think of one of my favorite German composed word which is das Fingerspitzengefuehl.

Das Fingerspitzengefuehl describes the mixed feeling you experience when you enter a room in the dark and you fear you might hit a corner with your pinkie.

I think your suggestion would sound good as the Ploetzlichleerefernsehenangst (the fear of a Tv sudden turning empty).
