Thank you for this story. Inagree with most of it. I suffer from anxiety and impostor syndrome is my twin. The pandemic has tilted a lot of doubts I had for a while. Like you, I’m in my 30s and I invested a lot in my education and career. I considered doing a drastical change, a couple of years ago, but I found it difficult to understand if I was following a better path for myself or just escaping.

I overall find your choice courageous. I’m not sure I would be able to accept to do something like that “gradually”. I often believe that the reason people are abrupt is because they Don’t believe they would be able to do it otherwise.
