The situation got indeed a lot more complex. The European Medical Agency is supposed to report on same rare cases next week. The past week experts excluded that the vaccine increases the chances of venous thrombosis and recommended vaccination. Yet, they need to investigate if there could be some correlations between the vaccine and a few rare deathly episodes in young women (hypothesis are of a correlation with contraception).

The main issue remained: the press coverage permanently injured people's faith in the vaccine. We wasted doses and slowed the rollout.
