To the old me: forget Barbies, ask Santa for these 6 things

I’m a huge Christmas lover. Christmas movies on Netflix are an obsession of mine. I won't lie to you: Sufjan Steven’s Christmas In The Room even appears in the playlist of my favourite songs. However, I don’t recall being that much into Christmas when I was a kid. And if I wrote some letters to Santa, my parents didn’t keep a trace of them.

We’re almost a month away from Christmas. Italian authorities are already talking about the measurements they will take in December to contain the spread of COVID-19, hinting that there will be no place for gatherings this year.

This is a Christmas letter to the old me.
It’s also a message to anybody who will be lucky enough to raise a child after the pandemics. So, please, if you have children and you can imagine that, sooner or later, they will be away from your home following their dreams, consider this Santa wishlist. Your child will thank you in the future.
